November: the month where it finally becomes acceptable to get nervous about Christmas shopping, have Mariah Carey on blast, and buy your local Tesco out of mince pies.

Bonfire Night Fireworks

Date: 2-3 November

The Fireworks Festival at Alexandra Palace is a November essential, with a German Bier festival, fun fair, ice skating rink, street food market and of course, a firework display. It’s poppin’.

 

Carnaby Christmas Lights switch-on

Date: 8th November

Location: Carnaby Street

The Carnaby Street Christmas lights switch-on is a personal favourite for us, especially as this year they have a ‘Queen’ theme to celebrate the release of ‘Bohemiem Rhapsody’. If the dazzling lyrics of Freddie Mercury weren’t enough, we have been promised some extra surprises at this year’s switch-on. Visitors can also get 20% off most shops in the area!

 

 Queen of Hoxton’s Parisian hideaway- ‘Lady Celeste’s’

Date: commences 25th October until Spring 2019.

Location: Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch

Price: Free entry

This Winter, Queen of Hoxton are paying homage to the 1900’s surrealist Paris with a cosy bohemiem pop-up on their roof terrace. The space includes, tarot readers, an absinthe bar, firepits and plenty of festive winter treats to wind down and get yourself in the festive spirit.
